STRX Swap
Questions Answered
Everything you need to know about STRX, STRX Swap, staking, bridging and earning on TRON.
What is STRX Swap?+
STRX Swap is a full-suite DeFi protocol built on the TRON blockchain. It combines token swapping, liquid staking, cross-chain bridging, liquidity provision, and on-chain credit into a single non-custodial interface centered around the STRX token. No account or KYC is required — just connect your TRON-compatible wallet.
What is the STRX token?+
STRX is a TRC20 utility and governance token native to the TRON blockchain. It powers the STRX Swap protocol — used for staking rewards, liquidity incentives, governance voting, fee discounts, and as collateral for on-chain credit lines. STRX can be bought, sold, staked, and bridged across 30+ chains.
How do I swap STRX on TRON?+
Connect your TronLink wallet using the "Connect Wallet" button. Select STRX as the input or output token, choose your desired pair (e.g., STRX/USDT or STRX/TRX), review the quoted rate, and click "Swap Now". Confirm the transaction in TronLink and your swapped tokens arrive in under 3 seconds thanks to TRON's fast finality.
How do I stake STRX?+
Navigate to the Staking tab in the STRX Swap widget, connect your TronLink wallet, enter the amount of STRX you wish to stake, and confirm the transaction. You immediately begin earning STRX staking rewards at up to 18.5% APY, paid continuously and claimable at any time.
What is the STRX staking APY?+
The STRX staking APY varies based on total staked supply, protocol fee revenue, and reward emission schedules. Current rates reach up to 18.5% APY. The displayed rate in the Staking tab always reflects the live APY. Longer lock-up periods may unlock higher reward tiers.
Is there a lock-up period for STRX staking?+
STRX Swap offers both flexible and fixed-term STRX staking options. Flexible staking allows you to unstake STRX at any time with no penalties. Fixed-term staking (7, 30, or 90 days) locks your STRX for a higher APY boost. All staking operations are fully on-chain and non-custodial.
How does STRX staking work technically?+
When you stake STRX, your tokens are deposited into an audited smart contract on the TRON blockchain. The contract allocates a share of all protocol swap fees and emission rewards to stakers proportional to their share of the staking pool. You receive a liquid staking receipt token representing your position, which can be used across STRX Swap's other DeFi modules.
What wallets are compatible with STRX Swap?+
STRX Swap supports TronLink (recommended for TRON-native STRX operations), MetaMask, Trust Wallet, WalletConnect (200+ wallets), Coinbase Wallet, Ledger, Trezor, and all major EVM-compatible wallets. For STRX staking and TRON-chain swaps, TronLink provides the most seamless experience.
What fees does STRX Swap charge?+
STRX Swap charges a protocol fee starting at 0.01% of swap value. TRON network gas fees are extremely cheap — often under $0.01 per STRX transaction. STRX token holders benefit from an additional fee discount. All fees are fully transparent and displayed in the swap quote before confirmation.
How does STRX Swap find the best swap rate?+
STRX Swap's routing engine simultaneously queries 500+ DEX liquidity pools — including SunSwap, JustSwap, Uniswap, PancakeSwap, Curve and many more — and uses a pathfinding algorithm to optimally split your STRX order across multiple pools, minimizing price impact. Quotes update every 5 seconds for live accuracy.
Can I bridge STRX to other blockchains?+
Yes. The Bridge tab in STRX Swap allows you to move STRX and other TRC20 tokens to and from 30+ networks including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism and more. Cross-chain bridging uses atomic protocols — your tokens are secured throughout the entire journey and the operation completes in a single user action.
How long does a STRX bridge transfer take?+
STRX to TRON-native transfers settle in under 3 seconds. Cross-chain STRX bridges to Ethereum typically take 5–15 minutes depending on Ethereum block confirmation times. Bridges to BNB Chain, Polygon, and Arbitrum usually complete in 2–5 minutes. All bridge statuses are tracked live in the interface.
What is STRX liquidity pool provision?+
By depositing STRX and a paired asset (such as USDT or TRX) into a STRX Swap liquidity pool, you become a liquidity provider (LP). Every swap that uses your pool generates a fee, a portion of which goes directly to you. STRX LP tokens represent your share and can also be staked for additional STRX rewards.
Is STRX Swap safe to use?+
Yes. STRX Swap is fully non-custodial — your STRX and other tokens never leave your wallet until a swap executes atomically. All STRX Swap smart contracts are audited by leading security firms. MEV protection shields all STRX swaps from front-running bots. If a swap cannot complete, your STRX is automatically returned to your wallet.
What is MEV protection on STRX swaps?+
MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) bots monitor public mempools to front-run swap transactions, forcing you to pay more. STRX Swap routes all STRX swap transactions through private mempool relays so bots cannot see or intercept them. This typically saves $15–$80 per large STRX trade and guarantees you the quoted rate.
Do I need KYC to use STRX Swap?+
No. STRX Swap is a fully decentralized, non-custodial protocol. No account registration, email address, identity verification or KYC of any kind is required. Simply connect your compatible wallet and you have immediate access to all STRX swap, staking, bridge, pool, and credit features.
What is STRX Credit?+
STRX Credit is an on-chain borrowing feature that lets you use your staked STRX as collateral to borrow stablecoins (USDT TRC20 or others). You retain exposure to STRX price appreciation while accessing immediate liquidity. Interest rates are competitive and all STRX Credit positions are managed via transparent smart contracts with no third-party custody.
What is the STRX staking reward structure?+
STRX staking rewards come from two sources: a share of all STRX Swap protocol trading fees (distributed proportionally to stakers), and STRX emission rewards from the protocol treasury. Flexible stakers earn the base rate; fixed-term STRX stakers unlock multipliers of up to 2x depending on lock duration.
Can I earn STRX rewards by providing liquidity?+
Yes. STRX Swap's liquidity mining program distributes additional STRX tokens to liquidity providers in incentivized pools. The STRX/USDT and STRX/TRX pools typically carry the highest STRX reward allocations. LP rewards compound on top of the trading fee income you earn from every swap.
What is slippage and how should I set it for STRX swaps?+
Slippage is the maximum acceptable difference between your quoted price and the executed price. For STRX/USDT swaps (stablecoin pairs), 0.1%–0.5% is typically sufficient. For STRX/TRX or volatile pairs, 0.5%–1% is recommended. STRX Swap's "Auto" mode dynamically sets slippage based on the pair's historical volatility for the safest default experience.
Where can I buy STRX tokens?+
STRX tokens can be purchased directly on STRX Swap by swapping any supported token (TRX, USDT TRC20, ETH, BNB, etc.) for STRX. STRX is also listed on centralized and decentralized exchanges that support TRC20 tokens. STRX Swap always offers competitive rates with MEV protection for STRX purchases.
How do I unstake STRX?+
To unstake STRX, go to the Staking tab, connect your wallet, and select "Unstake." For flexible STRX staking, your tokens are returned immediately with no penalty. For fixed-term STRX staking, you can unstake early (with a small penalty) or wait until the lock period expires to receive the full reward and principal.
What TRC20 tokens can I swap on STRX Swap?+
STRX Swap supports all major TRC20 tokens on TRON, including STRX, TRX, USDT TRC20, USDC TRC20, BTT, JST, SUN, WIN, NFT, and hundreds more. The token list is community-curated and new TRC20 tokens can be added via governance. For cross-chain swaps, native tokens from 30+ networks are also supported.
Does STRX Swap have a governance token?+
Yes. STRX is the native governance token of STRX Swap. Staked STRX holders receive voting power proportional to their staked balance. Governance proposals can modify protocol parameters, add new liquidity pools, adjust STRX reward emissions, and control treasury funds. All governance votes are on-chain and fully transparent.
Is there impermanent loss risk for STRX liquidity providers?+
Yes, like all AMM-based liquidity pools, STRX liquidity providers are exposed to impermanent loss if the price ratio of STRX and the paired token diverges significantly. STRX Swap mitigates this through concentrated liquidity features, STRX liquidity mining rewards, and LP fee income which can offset impermanent loss over time, especially in high-volume STRX pairs.
Can I use STRX Swap on mobile?+
Yes. STRX Swap is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. For the best mobile experience swapping or staking STRX on TRON, use the TronLink mobile app's built-in browser to connect seamlessly. Trust Wallet and MetaMask mobile browsers are also compatible for cross-chain STRX operations.
How do I claim my STRX staking rewards?+
STRX staking rewards accrue continuously in real-time on-chain. You can claim accumulated STRX rewards at any time from the Staking tab with a single transaction. Claimed STRX is sent directly to your wallet. You can also choose to auto-compound, reinvesting your STRX rewards back into staking automatically.
What is the STRX token contract address on TRON?+
The official STRX token is a TRC20 token deployed on the TRON blockchain. Always verify the contract address from the official STRX Swap documentation or trusted sources like CoinMarketCap before interacting with any contract. STRX Swap will always display the verified STRX token in the official token list within the interface.
What is the difference between STRX staking and STRX liquidity provision?+
STRX staking involves depositing STRX alone into the staking contract to earn protocol rewards — no price exposure to a paired asset, no impermanent loss risk. STRX liquidity provision involves depositing STRX paired with another token (e.g., USDT) into an AMM pool to earn trading fees and liquidity mining rewards, but with impermanent loss exposure. Both are valid strategies depending on your STRX risk preference.
How do STRX Swap smart contracts work?+
STRX Swap operates through a set of immutable and audited TRC20 smart contracts on the TRON blockchain. When you swap STRX, a router contract queries on-chain liquidity, routes your tokens through the optimal path, and atomically settles the trade in a single transaction. No intermediary holds your funds at any point. All contract code is publicly verifiable on TronScan.
Can I get STRX on chains other than TRON?+
Yes. Through STRX Swap's bridge module, wrapped versions of STRX are available on multiple EVM chains including Ethereum and BNB Chain. You can swap any token on those chains for bridged STRX and then bridge it back to TRON for full native STRX functionality including staking and credit.
What happens to my STRX if a swap fails?+
If a STRX swap fails for any reason — slippage exceeded, insufficient liquidity, or network issues — the transaction reverts automatically at the smart contract level. Your STRX and all other tokens are returned to your wallet in full. You only pay the TRON network gas fee for the failed transaction, which is typically under $0.01.
Does holding STRX give any fee discounts?+
Yes. STRX token holders and stakers receive tiered protocol fee discounts on all STRX Swap operations. The more STRX you hold or stake, the lower your swap fees. Staked STRX holders at higher tiers can achieve near-zero protocol fees, making STRX Swap one of the most cost-efficient DEX platforms in the TRON ecosystem.
Is STRX Swap audited?+
Yes. All STRX Swap smart contracts — including the swap router, staking contracts, liquidity pool contracts, bridge contracts, and credit module — have been audited by independent blockchain security firms. Full audit reports are publicly available in the STRX Swap documentation. Security audits are conducted regularly with each major protocol upgrade.
How can I participate in STRX Swap governance?+
To participate in STRX Swap governance, stake your STRX tokens to receive voting power. Browse active governance proposals on the STRX Swap governance portal, cast your vote, and track outcomes on-chain. Community members can also submit new proposals if they hold a minimum threshold of staked STRX. All governance actions are transparent, on-chain, and immutable.
